What information we collect
We collect what you give us yourself, and what you have allowed us to measure. What that is depends on what you do on the site:
- When you ask us to call you
- Name, phone number, company, when suits you, what the machine is for, and where you heard about us.
- When you send an order
- Whether you buy as a business or a private person, company name and VAT number, name, email, phone, address, postcode, city, country, your comment and the machine, stand and licence you chose.
- When you apply to become a dealer
- Name, company, country, email, phone, website, the partnership model and type of business you choose, and your message.
- Your choices
- Your cookie choice and, if you ticked the box, your consent to receive news and offers by email.
- Where you came from
- Campaign codes in the link you arrived from (UTM parameters) and the page you landed on. If you said yes to marketing, also the click ID from a Google or Meta ad, Meta's browser ID, the page that linked to us and the time of your first visit.
- How you use the site
- Only if you say yes to statistics or marketing: which pages you view, and information about your device and browser, through Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel.
- Technical information
- A form also sends the page language, the page you sent it from and the country your IP address points to. Your IP address is also used to deliver the site and protect it from spam and abuse.
We need the required fields to be able to reply. Without a name and phone number, for example, we can't call you back. Everything else is optional.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We only process your information when the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives us a basis for it:
- Replying to enquiries, quotes, orders and dealer applications
- Necessary to do what you ask before any contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Following up on your enquiry
- Our legitimate interest in following up on a business enquiry, for example if we couldn't reach you the first time (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- News and offers by email
- Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@selfie-circle.com.
- Statistics (Google Analytics 4)
- Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Ad measurement and marketing (Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API)
- Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Bookkeeping for orders
- Our duty under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Protection against spam and abuse
- Our legitimate interest in a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
If you withdraw a consent, it applies from that moment. It doesn't affect what we lawfully did before you withdrew it.
Statistics, ads and Meta
If you say yes to statistics, we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are used. If you say yes to marketing, we use Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure whether our ads on Google, Facebook and Instagram work, and to show relevant ads. If you say no, we don't load these tools at all.
If you send a form after saying yes to marketing, our server also tells Meta (Meta Conversions API), so Meta can see that an ad led to an enquiry. Your email and phone number are only sent as a hash, an unreadable code. Along with them go Meta's click and browser IDs (fbc and fbp), your IP address, your browser type and the page you sent the form from. We don't send your name or your message.
If you fill in one of our ad forms directly on Facebook or Instagram (Meta Lead Ads), Meta passes on to us what you write in the form. We handle it like an enquiry from the website.
Google and Meta also process information under their own terms. Read more in Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.
AI in our sales system
We keep track of enquiries in an internal sales system (CRM). There, AI from Anthropic suggests draft replies and helps us prioritise enquiries. A member of our team always reads the suggestion and sends the reply themselves. No automated decisions are made that have legal effects for you or affect you in a similarly significant way (Art. 22).
The AI only gets your name, your company and your message, not your email or phone number.
Who we share information with
We use a few suppliers for the website, our email, our sales system and our ads:
- Vercel Inc.
- Runs the website (hosting).
- Supabase
- The database behind our sales system (CRM), located in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Email (Google Workspace), statistics (Google Analytics 4) and ads (Google Ads).
- Meta Platforms Ireland
- Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API and ad forms (Lead Ads).
- Anthropic
- AI-suggested replies in our sales system.
We never sell your information to anyone. Authorities only get it if the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of our suppliers are American, so your information may be processed in the USA. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Write to info@selfie-circle.com if you'd like to know more.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries without a customer relationship
- Deleted or anonymised after 24 months without activity.

You have the right to:

- have your information deleted
- have the processing restricted
- receive your information in a common, machine-readable format (data portability)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest

Write to info@selfie-circle.com and we'll reply as soon as we can, and within one month at the latest.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, dt@datatilsynet.dk, www.datatilsynet.dk. You can also contact the data protection authority in your own country. We'd be glad of the chance to sort it out with you first, though.
